Easy Cream Fondant
1# Dry Fondant
2 T heavy whipping cream
6 T butter
Heat cream and butter until combined. Stir in dry fondant. As mixture stiffens, you may need to knead dough with hands to combine. Color and flavor to taste*.
No whipping cream? Try the following:
1# Dry Fondant
2 T milk
8 T butter
Prepare as instructed above.
Candy center may be flavored by adding a few drops of LorAnn oil, your favorite flavor of jam or all-fruit, or a combination of both. Add a little powdered sugar if filling becomes too soft to handle easily.
Want to make your own soft squeezable fillings?
Use the recipe above but change the 2 Tablespoons cream to 8 Tablespoons cream. Pour filling into 2 disposable decorating bags and close tightly with a rubber band and store in fridge. When ready to use microwave for 5-10 seconds to soften. If you would rather not soften in microwave add a couple more tablespoons of cream.
